To India

A Lucas Viriato

I want to go to India
I'll keep a peacock feather in my pocket
and touch it from time to time
while I think of something yellow.

I want to go to India
I'll look at people in the eyes
and hold their hands
while my tears make them uncomfortable.

I want to go to India
I'll wear a flowered necklace throughout
and when I'm ready
I'll put my hands together and touch my forehead then my chest
and say goodbye.

Talvez, as vezes.
Beijos.
